From a Dream That Almost Ended to a New Beginning

My journey with party decorating began in 2018, creating celebrations for family and friends. That passion grew into something I wanted to share with my community.

In 2020, I opened my first storefront, Rennie Gifting, with almost no funding. My goal was simple: help families celebrate without spending a fortune. Two weeks after opening, my store was broken into. I rebuilt on credit while carrying an expensive lease, but the location wasn't safe, and without money for a website or a better space, Rennie Gifting closed after nearly two years.

Then came harder years. I lost my sister and my mother within a short span, stepped away from business completely, and worked night care and delivery jobs just to keep going. But I never stopped dreaming.

In summer 2025, I started selling party supplies from my garage. Word of mouth kept it alive.

In March 2026, I visited my friend Mrs. Diane of Kake Korner and asked about renting space. She said yes. I cried, not from sadness but from gratitude. I moved in that April, and weeks later Mrs. Diane offered me the whole floor. I renovated, navigated zoning, and pushed through every obstacle.

That is how Studio by Rennies was born.

More Than an Event Space

Studio by Rennies represents resilience, faith, healing, and a second chance. My vision is a place where people can celebrate, create, connect, and relax, especially women who carry so much for everyone else and rarely pause for themselves.

Come celebrate. Come create. Come connect. Come relax. Come be happy.

My first business closed, but my dream didn't. Rennie Gifting ended. The dream continued. Studio by Rennies is my new beginning.
